Hello, friends!

At the beginning of 2017, I sat down and wrote out my professional, spiritual, personal and philanthropic goals for the year. One of those goals was to select a charity and go out of my comfort zone to act on something I believe in to support that charity. I am happy to announce that I will be running (yes, running) in this fall's Point2Point to raise funds for the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. I will be running with a team leaving Locust Point in Baltimore, MD and we will RUN (mileage differs per participant per day) to the Southernmost Point in the US.... Key West! Along the way, we will participate in service projects with Cancer Treatment Centers and those people they benefit. I believe this will be a challenge for me on many fronts, but I am up to it!

I have had the opportunity to do business with the dedicated people at the Ulman Fund and I believe in their mission. I will run to support those people in my life that have been affected by cancer in many forms.

Part of participating in this amazing opportunity is a fundraising component and that is where you come in. Please click on the link to support me along the way! I am happy to answer any questions you have and look forward to updating you on my progress from Baltimore to Key West!

Thank you so much! XOXO Lauren

ABOUT 2017 Point to Point

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, the Ulman Cancer Fund is able to provide free support services and resources for the young adult cancer community including:

Cancer to 5K - a 12-week training program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity.

Patient Navigation - a free program (onsite at cancer centers and remotely through our office) that ensures no young adult ever faces cancer alone. We provide one-on-one support & resources to young adults and their families to help them manage the cancer expereience and long-term cancer survival.

Scholarships - a financial assistance program to help young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.

Your donation will help make these programs and our mission possible!
