Welcome to my Fundraising Page!

At the beginning of 2017, I decided I would learn how to swim in preparation for completing a triathalon before I turned 50 in September 2018.  So in February 2017, I took lessons and swam my first lap, and decided there was no better time than the present to sign up for a triathlon and begin training.  Proudly on May 14, 2017, I started and  completed my first triathlon.  What better way to celebrate such an acomplishment other than to do it again for a longer distance.  Therefore, I've set my sights on my next goal which is to complete my first Iron Girl.  To keep me motivated, I've decided to train with a purpose by raising money to make a difference in other people's lives.  Thus, as I train over the next 12 weeks for the Iron Girl on August 20, 2017, I am raising money to support The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.  I am greatful for both your encouragement and support and appreicate your contributions to in helping me make a difference.  Thank you in advance!

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults changes lives by creating a community of support for young adults, and their loved ones, impacted by cancer. With your support, the Ulman Cancer Fund is able to provide free support services and resources for the young adult cancer community including:

Cancer to 5K - a 12-week training program designed to introduce or reintroduce cancer survivors to physical activity.

Patient Navigation - a free program (onsite at cancer centers and remotely through our office) that ensures no young adult ever faces cancer alone. We provide one-on-one support & resources to young adults and their families to help them manage the cancer expereience and long-term cancer survival.

Scholarships - a financial assistance program to help young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.
