It's been a long time since I decided to embark on a journey of this level and raise funds for a cause. The time has come for me to support an amazing organization as well as test my limits of mind and body with a cycling adventure from Baltimore MD to the Florida Keys (1400 miles total, with my part between 350-450 miles). In this effort, I will meet and be touched by amazing people and experience life. I will challenge my body, but also hear stories of those riding for survivors and also those riding in memory of their loved ones. 

I know many of us have been affected by cancer in some way, shape or form. I also know that we are all constantly being hit up for dontations here, donations there, but something really struck me... Nearly 70,000 young adults are diagnosed with cancer in the United States each year. The two words "young" and "adults" really struck a cord with me... because THATS ME! That's my friends from high school, college, my colleagues, that's my family, my brother, cousins... that is soooo many people that I personally know and care about. 

After considering what I would do and where I would go if I was diagnosed with cancer. I felt lost. There are limited resources for young adults that are affected by cancer. The resources from the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults go to the cause of helping us --  Helping young adults with their cancer battle.

UCF Key to Keys Experience is a journey that brings together a diverse group of individuals to build a community of support for those affected by cancer. Using cycling as a platform, Key to Keys participants come together throughout the journey to share their individual cancer connections and give out as much support to others as they are receiving.
