Last year Wes rode his bike and I drove one of the support vehicles on the Key to Keys adventure. I call it an adventure because it proved to be one of the most inspiring and emotional experiences that Wes and I have ever been involoved in. We were inspired by many stories of the personal challenges and accomplishments that several cancer survivors had encountered. Most importantly for us, we were able to share many stories of Jacqueline and the incredible courage and determination that she exhibited over her 11 and 1/2 year battle with a recurrent brain tumor. There is a saying in our family that "everything we do, we do for Jacqueline." So this year the roles have been reversed, I will be riding a bike and Wes will be driving a support vehicle from Baltimore to Key West, for Jacqueline. It is our honor to accompany so many other incredible individuals in this years journey down the east coast. We look forward to providing support to those who need it, and accepting support from those who can provide it. I have no doubt that with the inspiration that Jacqueline still provides us on a daily basis that we will make it down to Key West, leaving a trail of Jacqueline's stories and spirit along the way. UCF Experiences Key to Keys is a journey that brings together a diverse group of individuals to build a community of support for those affected by cancer. Using cycling as a platform, Key to Keys participants come together throughout the journey to share their individual cancer connections and give out as much support to others as they are receiving.
